TrueNAS has random reboots every couple of weeks.

Searches online (Reddit, forum) point into the direction of a hardware issue, probably memory or NIC related, maybe PSU or storage related.

  • Run a full memtest
  • Do not use Realtek NIC's

There are no suspicious logs in /var/log/kern.log or journalctl --boot=-1.

My BIG Zpool is currently scrubbing, so I am going to let that finish first.

System rebooted again, in the middle of a scrub.

I put some other memory sticks in, while I am memtesting some sticks properly. If the results turn out fine, they can go in the TrueNAS machine.
