I would like to be able to mount storage from the server inside a users directory, so that user does not have to copy everything in his Nextcloud folder.

Nextcloud: Configuring external storage

Nextcloud: Mounting ocal storage

The storage is recognized but so far no files appear in the directory. Logs say permission denied. Waiting for migration to set definite ACLs on the wanted dataset.

Set the ACLs, I had to give apps permissions on the specific dataset.

One small notice: You need to check 'allow sharing' to allow the user to create a share from the external storage - which is what we want to be able to.
