Alright, comics are only recognised by Jellyfin if metadata files are provided. Maybe it is still worth importing the comics to the existing library, and just accessing them however you want? If you would ever decide that you want to read them on your ereader, you can, if you want to read them online, you can choose either Calibre-Web or Jellyfin.

I personally think this is the best option.

Otherwise looking into installing and configuring kavita?
